I have taken my car to Dennis Johnson's for two separate jobs now and they did an excellent job both times. They are no-nonsense and straight forward and don't push extra repairs on you at all. They have gone out of their way to accommodate my requests and give me the option of genuine dealer parts if that's what I wanted. I have always done my own automotive work, but now that I can't, I totally trust Dennis Johnson's Automotive to do it right. I have known of Dennis since the 1980's when he worked at a prominent automotive business in Madison and he was known to be one of the top mechanics around.

If I have said it once, I have said it two hundred and thirty seven time - Dennis Johnson and the guys at Dennis Johnson Auto Repair have helped keep me in business and on the road - literally - for over a decade! Their friendly, prompt, dependable service has been something I have been able to count on and it has helped me have peace of mind. I have referred Dennis and the guys to numerous friends and family and they have always treated them just as they have treated me. If they can help you they will and if it is outside of their area of expertise, they will refer you to a trusted associate who can. In my opinion, if you are in North Alabama - especially the Limestone County, Athens, Harvest and Madison area - there is no need to look for any other mechanic.

Initially I took my 2004 Chevy Silverado to a local repair shop to fix multiple oil leaks. After several attempts, the truck was still leaking oil. I decided to take my truck to Dennis Johnson's Auto Repair Center and I immediately knew it was a great decision after my initial conversation with Gary. Gary explained the actions he was going to take to diagnose and fix the problem. After confirming the causes of the oil leaks, Gary called me again to get my approval to proceed. The following day, Gary called to inform me that my truck was ready with no more oil leaks. Gary was very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. I strongly recommend Dennis Johnson's Auto Repair Center for your auto repair needs.

My dealer told me in May that I needed new breaks, I didn't think that I did and the break light was not on. It's now January and I thought I better get them looked at but decided against the high price of my dealer. I found Dennis Johnson on the internet and was a little nervous not having a personal recommendation but I was worried for nothing! They took great care of me and were very courteous and professional! I had to wait for my car rather than drop it off and the waiting room and rest room were very clean (they had just mopped)! After looking at my car they asked me why I thought my brakes needing changing and I explained that my dealer said it was needed months earlier. They explained that I still had over 40% on my pads, they did recommend changing the front ones because of thumping on the road (my term-not theirs). They were also able to save my sensors so they did not have to be replaced! I cannot say enough good things about them!!!
